no cradle
the recorder is fine, but it does not come with a cradle like our ds-2 had. Also, it is bigger than our older model, not sure if that is good or bad. The software was easy to setup for transcription, the playback is better quality but not having the cradle is annoying.

It is a little different than the DS-330 I used for many years without a hitch. It does allow me to re-record and back up quickly, files are easy to create and change but there is no cradle just a cable to connect it to the pc. How can they not have a cradle??
