OM System ODMS R8 Wireless Transcription Kit

A PC transcription kit that combines the OM System ODMS R8 Transcription Module software license with the RS31N USB foot switch and your choice of headset: the Spectra SP-350BT wireless headset or the wired OM System E-103 stereo headset.

What's in the kit

• OM System AS-R802 ODMS R8 Transcription Module (V4204120E000) - single-user, on-premise transcription software license (license key card and installation guide). One-time cost, no subscription, with free updates and security patches for the lifetime of the software release.
• OM System RS31N USB Foot Switch (V4202500E000) - four pedals with configurable functions for play, stop, rewind and more; extra-wide centre pedal; centre or top pedal can be locked; HID keyboard mode and keyboard shortcuts via the free Foot Switch Configuration Tool; 2.5 m USB cable; non-slip mat.
• Headset (choose one):
  • Spectra SP-350BT wireless transcription headset - Bluetooth 5.0, built-in boomless microphone, built-in digital volume control, up to 8 hours of continuous use per charge, up to 80 ft range, full recharge in 1.5 hours. Includes charging base, power supply and USB charging cable.
  • OM System E-103 stereo transcription headset (V4202600E000) - under-the-chin stereo headset, 3.5 mm right-angled plug, 3 m cable, 100-10,000 Hz frequency response optimized for the human voice.

ODMS R8 Transcription Module features

• Playback and transcription with foot control
• High or normal priority, plus comments embedded in the audio file (Author ID and Worktype)
• Live status updates: unfinished, pending, finished
• Folder and filter management, document association and automatic routing
• Plays DS2, DSS, WAV and MP3 files, encrypted or unencrypted
• Records audio from online meetings such as Teams, Zoom and Webex

Compatibility and requirements

The RS31N is compatible with ODMS R8 (Transcription Module) and ODMS Cloud. ODMS R8 requires Windows 11, a 2 GHz or faster CPU, 4 GB RAM, 2 GB free disk space and .NET Framework 4.8. The E-103 needs a PC or Mac headphone input; the SP-350BT connects to Bluetooth-ready devices.
